Tekview has been at the forefront of GSM remote power products since we started back in 2011. In today’s large server-based cloud data centres all power is controlled over IP (POE), however, in remote locations where there are usually only one or two pieces of IT kit, POE is not secure and is more difficult to deploy especially as a retrofit reboot solution requiring trained staff.

Our GSM remote power products offer simple but safe remote hard reboots via SMS as there is no IP or data connection. This is why many of the largest ATM companies in Europe choose our technology to save engineering visits as hard reboots or power outage notification are all carried out in seconds by simple low-cost SMS’s. They can be deployed in the field very easily without the need for trained staff as units can be set up prior to deploying. In 2015 we introduced our online portal EstateView to provide centralised management for clients with a few hundred to many thousands of Powertxt or Powertxt Duo’s deployed. Our largest client currently has over 10,000 units across 18 European countries all managed from their central support centre in Poland.

Since launching our client list includes small SMS’s to major corporate customers including Amazon, JC Decaux, Notemachine, Euronet, Evolve ODM and The Nexus Group to name a few.

We have also managed several customised projects for individual requirements/applications including a Telecare project in 2013 partly sponsored by 02 and various Government Telecare/assistive technology stakeholders. The aim was to find simple use anywhere solutions to protect the elderly in Winter as so many elderly people die unnecessarily each year from the cold. This project resulted in the design and manufacture of our B2C product Envirotxt that alerts By SMS for power outages and temperature changes if the room temperature drops below pre-set acceptable min/max values.
